About Me
Hi! My name's Matt. I've been a professional software engineer for 10+ years, mostly working in backend systems. I've previously done a lot of work on scalable product-facing services, but more recently have been working on tooling, CI/CD systems, platform primitives, and internal libraries, with the goal of simplifying and automating all the things that slow engineers down.
I always love to learn new things and I've found the biggest periods of growth in my career have started with being dropped into the unknown and building from there. I enjoy being an expert in my field, being someone people like to work with, and leading a team that others can depend on.
